CE Smart Home Devices will require configuration with a 2.4GHz network.
The easiest way to determine if you’re using a 2.4GHz or a 5GHz WiFi network, is to browse available networks within WiFi settings on your phone/tablet. Look for a ‘2’ or ‘5’ in your WiFi network’s name (SSID). If you see both, choose to connect to the network with the ‘2’ in its name (or to the network that does NOT have a '5' or '5G').
If you have only one network name, or your network names do not include a 2.4 or 5, you can double check your network settings on a desktop computer.
Steps below:
- Click the WiFi network icon on the system desktop. (If you do not see the network icon or have a different operating system than the below example, navigate to your computer’s network/internet settings.)

3. Click hardware properties in the settings window
4. Here you will be able to view the network band.
