Currently, our WF500D Dimmer Switches are only compatible in a single pole configuration (one switch controlling one light fixture). We do, however, have a 3-way dimmer switch in the works. The 3-way Smart Dimmer is set to debut in 2020.
The WF500D Single Pole Smart Dimmer Switch will not function correctly if installed in a 3- or 4-way switch (a 3-way switch means there are 2 switches that control the same light fixture, i.e. switches at each end of the hallway). The switches are compatible with light fixtures only; not for use with a ceiling fan or other switch operated non-light fixtures.
